Reliable Automotive - Auto Repair Franklin TN

Difficult as it can be to find good and dependable service, this shop is likely my answer. I described my concerns. John heard me out, took my key and checked it out. Right away he came back, asked questions and told me what they found. I needed no expensive repairs today. When has a shop been so honest they don't upsell you? I'm going to review my maintenance schedule and I'll be shifting to John/Reliable for most or all of the work. He will know the vehicle. I'll know I can trust what he tells me. winning is good 💖🙏🏻

John and his team are by far the best mechanics here in Middle Tennessee. Not only did they fix my 16 year old car, but they also fixed other issues (not caused by them and completely different from the original one) regarding the age of my vehicle. They were nice, called and checked up on my car after, and the prices were amazing. If you're looking for your next mechanic please go to Reliable Automotive. They're be far the best in the business.

Was offered a free oil change and tire rotation when I moved into an apartment here in Franklin Tennessee. I had put off scheduling this appointment, but it was so easy to schedule and the guys there are so nice. They honored my coupon and on my way out, I mentioned something that didn’t work and Mike took my car for a spin came back showed me what needed to be done and fixed my cruise control. Amazing. I will use them for oil changes for life.

These guys have taken care of me twice now when in a pinch; fall 2025 when my wife's radiator blew out in his KIA Sorrento and April 2026 when I needed new brake pads on my KIA Stinger G2. In both cases we'd received absolutely ludicrous quotes from KIA and when reaching out to Reliable, they had quotes over to us in a matter of minutes—each time the quote half, or less than what the dealership wanted to charge. Great communication, top-notch service, solid crew in there and a comfortable waiting area with WiFi, a big flat-screen TV, comfortable chairs, drinks, snacks and a super-clean bathroom. Highly-recommend on all levels for all your automotive needs in the Franklin area.

Great experience working with John and the Reliable Automotive team with my 14 year old Honda Accord. John and his co-worker were not only able to identify and fix my major strut issue but also fixed some small things that had been needed for a few years (fuel cap broken, worn down brake pedal, missing engine cover). Everything was done perfectly and quickly. The price was right and I have absolutely no issues or complaints after the work was completed. I highly recommend this business and will be returning soon to have my other vehicle inspected and serviced as needed. Thanks!
